This site sets no cookies, has no accounts, comments or newsletter, and doesn't ask for your consent because there's nothing to consent to.

Analytics

I use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't fingerprint your browser. It reports totals like page views, top pages, referring sites, countries and browser types. I can't use it to identify you or follow you across other sites.

Cloudflare also hosts the site, so its servers handle your request the way any web host does. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Theme setting

If you pick Light or Dark, your browser remembers that choice in local storage on your own device. It never leaves your browser.

Share links

The share buttons are plain links. Nothing loads from LinkedIn, X, Facebook or Reddit until you click one. Shared links carry tags like utm_source=linkedin.

I count shares on this site's own server, with no cookies and no third-party script. When you click a share button, your browser sends the post's address and the network you picked. When someone opens a shared link, the browser sends the post's address and the network from the tag, then removes the tags from the address bar. That's all that's recorded. No IP address, browser details or identifier is stored, so I can't tell who shared or who visited.

Opting out

Any common content blocker stops the Cloudflare analytics script, and blocking requests to /api/e stops share counting. The site works the same without either.
